A six week drawing and printmaking residency with the pupils of Portree Primary School, exploring and celebrating the foreshore through a variety of creative skills and techniques.

Together with the pupils we developed a concertina book through observational drawing outside and printmaking with found objects from the tidal zone.

This was an Atlas Arts project supported by The Pebble Trust and Patagonia Environmental Grants Fund of Tides Foundation.

I teach printmaking to children and adults, with an emphasis on experimentation and process rather than focusing too heavily on end results.
