Developing My Creative Practice 2025/2026

A woodcut of a landscape scene

In 2025 I was awarded a grant to develop my printmaking, using the Japanese waterbased woodcut technique Mokuhanga. This project is ongoing and has excitingly led to further research into pigment making and other non-toxic printing techniques. I’m looking forward to sharing more of this work over the coming months.

Artist in Residence, Iceland 2025

In Spring/Summer 2025 I was artist in residence for three months at Skaftfell Centre for the Arts in East Iceland. Myself, my partner and our three year old son began a collaborative project, incorporating print, sound and play.

We held an exhibition at the Gloucester Print Co-Operative in Stroud on our return, to share our findings.
